Things Completed
Last month was an Admin Month for me, and despite being out sick for a week 🤧 I really got so much done. Partially because I will do any number of tasks before I will get around to doing product photography.
But I did also do product photography!
- Two SeaDragon projects from March actually were completed early in April. In case you missed it, here's the behind the scenes drama I had with Soap Bubble
- My Etsy shop is the most up-to-date it has probably ever been! 😮
- I made a very cool aisle sign for my booth, plus a few other table improvements
- And the Gilman District Street Fair in Berkeley went pretty well 🙂
Things In Progress
May is a "special projects" month. This is a bit of an inside joke: as a member of the ACCI gallery, I'm supposed to be in one of several committees which help to serve the gallery. Most of the committees are like Photography, or Maintenance, or Display (making sure the artwork looks nice and rotates around). But when I joined they discovered I know how to work a spread sheet 😂 so I was placed in the "special projects" committee, also known as Tech Support.
For this month I'll be focusing on some odd jobs that don't fit in to my usual categories.
- I've been meaning to try this box clasp design for months. I'm gonna do it!
- Need to practice some loop-in-loop so we can bring it back to The Crucible as a new class
- Going to try some repair work
- I occasionally work with braided leather, and all of these rocks are calling to me
