March Newsletter
Greetings!
Here in the San Francisco Bay Area we are beginning to feel the touches of spring! 🌸🌺🌈 I hope my friends and family in the snowier parts of the country thaw out soon and can begin to grab some sunshine.
Its also the season for applying to art fairs and street festivals. Check out my Contacts page at any time to see the most up-to-date list of events.
In February I tried to focus on projects using silver chainmail with gemstones; in March I am switching my focus to SeaDragon work, mostly. My list of potential projects continues to be much greater than my actual time and energy, which is kind of reassuring actually. At least I'm never bored ☺️
Things Completed
💸 I figured out my taxes
🌔 Completed this bracelet with 7 moonstones on the first day of the new Lunar year!
💮 Made six pairs of 'Chain Flower' earrings (still workshopping the name, what do you think?)
💐 Start and finished one WHOLE bracelet of flower chain, including 20 CZs! The last time I made one of these is took weeks, this one took 3 days! 😄
Things In Progress
🐲 March will be focus on SeaDragon work, starting with some repairs and these pieces I cast back in November but never finished
✨ Going to try that metallic luster enamel I got for Christmas 🤩
⚡ Also, a collaboration-in-progress involving anodizing titanium chainmail!
