Welcome to 2026 🥂
Here in northern California it is the rainy season, which is good encouragement to stay indoors and make ✨shiny things✨
I did some thinking while at the last few shows of 2025, and I've decided that this year I'm going weird. I'm searching for My People, and I don't think they are at these shows selling vanilla candles and macramé wall hangings. My resolution for the new year is to attend events with more flavor, more eyeliner, and more pocket watches. I'm looking for the people who put the "craft" in Lovecraftian Horror.
I think it will be a lot of fun!

Things Completed
I had four in-person shows within four weeks, between the end of November and the beginning of December. By far the best and most fun was GIFTY at The Crucible, where my most excellent booth-babe Trey manned the table while I was doing chainmail demos! (somehow we didn't get a photo 🤦)
I also squeezed in a small casting run of SeaDragon Mermaid Tails, and a temporary day-job during the month of December. 🙃
Things In Progress
I've seen a new-to-me technique for making custom clasps, and I can't wait to test it out. I'm also excited to revisit to this gemstone and chainmail bracelet project! Watch for more of this coming soon.
